PWN Global: Project Management Officer (PMO)

GLOBAL ROLE

This role will be responsible for supporting PWN's transformation and promoting excellence in project management, which is one of the key success factors for PWN's return to growth. With the support of the PWN Global Board, this role is one of the pillars of PWN's agile transformation.

Monitors, advises and coordinates all of PWN Global's strategic projects, with the aim of achieving optimum results and realising strategically important benefits for the organisation as a whole.

Advises and supports all players, from strategy to implementation.

 Overview

Location: Works remotely
Reports to:  PWN Global Co-Presidents
Status: Volunteer
Leadership dimension: Global Executive Lead
Budget owner: TBD
Time Commitment: 4-6hrs/week
Notice Period: 1 month
Probation Period: 3 months

 

Responsibilities

  • Drawing up the "action charter" and defining the scope of the various projects with each member of the board (Presidents to sign off)
  • Determining the resources needed to implement each project, drawing up mission statements and supervising the recruitment of project managers.
  • Defining the planning for each project with the project managers.
  • Directing, coordinating and supervising the implementation of projects and related activities from inception to closure.
  • Define and implement an appropriate communication plan and provide regular and relevant reports to all stakeholders.
  • To provide a consultancy service to the board or user as part of the support provided for the changes brought about by the project and in anticipation of additional needs.
  • Implement knowledge management, capitalizing on and sharing best practice and knowledge.

  • Implementing the global PWN strategy through projects with a high level of complexity, financial stakes or scope.
  • Implementing appropriate governance and interacting with the decision-makers of the various stakeholders including corporate partners.
